Rules and regs for convelescent leave in the Marine Corps?

I just had surgery in which my tonsils were removed on tuesday. I was granted 2 weeks on convo leave. I do not know what I am allowed to do though. I assumed that even though I am staying in the barracks, I would not be required to sign out, I would not have to be back for rack checks, I would not have to go to formation. Marines keep telling me different things. I know that during convo leave you can go home in some cases. I'm on leave but staying in the barracks, so that means I should be able to do what I want right??
